Today in country music history:

2008 - Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert performed their first full-length concert together in Monroe, Michigan.

2007 - Faith Hill lectured a fan at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana for grabbing her husband Tim McGraw's crotch.  Video of the event surfaced on the Internet.

2005 - Rascal Flatts' video for "Fast Cars and Freedom" premiered.

2004 - Chris Cagle flew over Cheyenne, Wyoming in an F-16 with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

1999 - The Dixie Chicks video for "Ready to Run" debuted.

1982 - The Bellamy Brothers' compilation Greatest Hits was released.

1971 - Charley Pride recorded "Kiss an Angel Good Morning" in Nashville.
